Israeli Defense Minister, Benny Ganz, signed the SAMIDOUN organization as a terrorist organization

As part of the fight against the terrorist organization “Liberation Front” and its organizational infrastructure in the world, Defense Minister Ganz signed an order declaring the SAMIDOUN organization operating on its mission abroad as a terrorist organization.

The Minister of Defense, Bnei Gantz, signed an order declaring “Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity” also known as SAMIDOUN, as a terrorist organization, on the recommendation of the National Headquarters for Economic Warfare against Terrorism (MTA) and the GSS.

SAMIDOUN was declared a terrorist organization as part of the Liberation Front organization and was established by its activists in 2012. The organization’s representatives work in many countries in Europe and North America and are headed by Khaled Barakat, a senior Gaza organization abroad, involved in establishing military units and motivating terrorist activities in Judea and Samaria And abroad.

Its formal purpose is to assist Palestinian prisoners in their struggle to be released from prison, but in practice serves as a ‘sponsoring body’ that acts as a cover for the Gaza’s organization abroad.

He also plays a leading and significant role in the propaganda and publicity campaigns conducted by the Gaza’s organization against Israel, mobilizes resources and activists and disseminates the teachings of the Gaza’s organization. This struggle is a complementary component to the armed and violent terrorist struggle waged by the Liberation Front organization against Israel.

Defense Minister Ganz and defense officials will continue to take steps to thwart and enforce the law against attempts by the Popular Front terrorist organization and the bodies working on its behalf to harm state security.
